Song 22. Ladder in B (July 2017)
(fourth incarnation)
Still in Saturn's sphere in the Commedia's 22nd Paradiso canto,
we continue to see the ladder that drops down from higher up.
The pilgrim is urged upward onto the ladder to continue his ascent.
I am reminded of one of my own dreams where I found myself
at the door to an elevator normally forbidden to most people, and how
I took elevator up to see a Goddess in the penthouse at the top.
